Switzerland increases its share of the global medical technology market

The second Swiss Medtech Report reveals that the medtech industry in Switzerland has increased its share of the growing global medical technology market. "Medtech is one of the fastest growing Swiss sectors. Annual growth rates in the past two years have increased to 25-30%. Studies suggest that therapy systems, implants and prosthetics are the fastest growing fields and these are the focus areas of many Swiss companies", says Heinrich Christen, Partner and Industry Leader Medical Devices at Ernst & Young.
