The interim condensed consolidated financial statements for a fictitious company based in "Euroland", a fictititous country in
Europe, and reporting in Euros. The financial statements incorporate all IFRS in issue at 31 March 2008, and are in
accordance with IAS 34 Interim Financial Reporting.

The new legal regulations broaden the legal audit assignment within the regular audit of financial statements. The auditors
have to examine whether an internal control system (ICS) exists. For that purpose, they examine whether the Executive Board have
taken measures to assure proper accounting and financial reporting and whether these measures are enforced.
